Pat Collins Fun Fairs Limited are presenting a brand new event celebrating the 150th birthday of the legendary funfair mogul of the late 19th and early 20th century Pat Collins "The Bloxwich Showman".

 

The event - Walsall Town Show - is presented by Anthony Harris and family, and takes place in the Walsall Arboretum extension off Broadway North, Walsall, on Saturday 8 August and Sunday 9 August 2009.  Opening hours:  10am - 6pm.

 

Many attractions will be on display, including:

• Monster trucks - including Grim Reaper and Big Pete
• Stunt Motobike shows
• Model shows
• History shows
• Traction engines
• Funfair rides and attractions ( for all ages )
• Punch and judy shows
• Inflatables
• Fairground organs
• Seaside sand - world's largest mobile sand pit!
• Donkeys
• Express & Star stalls
• Vintage lorry shows
• Fire service displays
• Smooth Radio road show

This event will support local charities including Hospice, Blind, Deaf organisations and there will be a civic opening by the Mayor of Walsall plus guests.

 

Entrance fees are as follows:

Children £2
