New Hollands Bakery Shop Opens on the High Street

Pauline Clarke, Lisa Woolley and Dawn Ruston are ready to serve in the new bakery shop seen below (SW)

Dateline:  21 September 2009

One of Walsall's longest-established bakeries made a new start in Bloxwich today when staff opened their new shop on the High Street at 8.30am precisely.

Hollands Craft Bakery, based in John Street, is well-known in the town and to business, but this is their first venture into Bloxwich with their own shop.

The company prides itself on producing some of the finest bread and cakes in the Black Country, and apart from serving the trade also have a shop at the bakery and indoor market stalls in Wolverhampton and Bilston.

Hollands have also recently acquired a controlling interest in a large Polish flour mill, and the company is now able to offer standard and gluten-free flour to bakeries and wholesalers across the UK and Ireland.

Bloxwich folk looking for traditional quality from a local craft baker will be sure of a cheery welcome and good service from Pauline, Lisa and Dawn at the new store, which is bound to be popular.

It's not often these days that Bloxwich has the opportunity to welcome a new, locally run and traditional shop to the High Street.

The Bloxidge Tallygraph is delighted to extend a welcome to this new enterprise, and wishes the best of luck to Hollands and its staff.

The Edditer expects to be back there soon!
