Four Crosses Converted to Indian Restaurant

The Four Crosses:  another Bloxwich pub disappears (SW)

Dateline:  23 September 2009

The Four Crosses public house, at the junction of Green Lane and Leamore Lane, Leamore, has become the latest victim of the recession, albeit the demise of this attractive-looking 1920s hostelry has had a more positive outcome than most.

The pub has recently been converted, under new management, into an Indian restaurant and bar.  It is well set up with a sizeable car park on a busy main road, so ought to do well once trade builds up.  Anyone interested in booking a meal can contact the new restaurant on 01922 401701.

The site is an historic one.  The original Four Crosses, demolished for the present building, was at one time a coaching house, with a toll gate.
