First Birthday Competition!

WIN A BOOK AND CELEBRATE OUR BIRTHDAY!

The Online Eddition of The Bloxidge Tallygraph celebrates its first birthday on the day of this year's BLOXWICH CARNIVAL - Saturday 4th August 2007.

To celebrate, The Edditer is offering readers of The Tallygraph the chance to win one of three copies of the superb book STREET NAMES OF BLOXWICH & PELSALL (published by Walsall Local History Centre).  These prizes will go to the first three entrants who email him the correct answer to the following question:

Question:  Name the man whose proudly upstanding gravestone in All Saints churchyard, Bloxwich, celebrates the independent spirit of Bloxwich, the history of the Borough and Foreign, and the traditional rivalry between Bloxwich and Walsall.

The answer can be found here on this website, or why not go down to All Saints Church and see for yourself?

Email your entry, subject headed BLOXIDGE TALLYGRAPH COMPETITION and including your name, age and full postal address, to:  the.edditer@thebloxidgetallygraph.com

The closing date for entries is 31st August 2007, after which the answer and winning entries will be listed here and prizes sent out.  No correspondence will be entered into and The Edditer's decision is final.

Please note:  This competition is open to residents of the United Kingdom only due to the cost of international postage - sorry!
